Circle of Scales
Druids of the Circle of the Scales are fierce warriors of nature whose close ties to their draconic heritage often see them protecting nature from chromatic dragons who would often cause mass damage to the balance. The circles are known to take refuge in areas in which their ancestral dragon flight once may have called home, clusters of these druids exist in almost pure separation from the rest of humanity.
As fierce as the dragons they call their heritage from, many Circle of the Scale Druids leave their flight once they have matured. Seeking out any who would challenge the balance of nature these rare druids put their bodies through rigorous and stressful transformations.
Features
Scaled Wild Shape
When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you ignore the flying or swimming speed limitations on your Scaled Forms. Any beast forms still use the limitations of the table.
Additionally, while you are transformed by Scaled forms, you can use a bonus action to expend one spell slot to regain 1d8 hit points per level of the spell slot expended.
Scaled Forms
The ancestry of your circle grant you the ability to transform into draconic forms. Starting at 2nd level, you can use wild shape to transform into a dragon with a challenge rating as high as 1 (you ignore the max CR column of the beast shapes table only for dragon types.)
Starting at 6th level, you can transform into a dragon with a challenge rating as high as your druid level divided by 3, rounded down.
Draconic Strikes
Starting at 6th level, your attacks in scaled form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Greater Scaled Forms
At 10th level, you can expend two wild shapes at the same time to transform into a dragon at 1/2 of your druid level, rounded down. The stress of taking on this form leaves you with one level of exhaustion at the end of your form.
Expanded Scale Shape
At 14th level, you have gained the personal will to push past your limits. You gain two additional wild shapes, bringing your maximum to four. Additionally, you no longer suffer levels of exhaustion when transforming into a dragon of 1/2 your druid level, rounded down.
