Doxa's destiny took a sharp turn when caught thieving from a noble, leading to an unexpected initiation into the sacred Priestesses of the Kah. Within the hallowed, candle-lit corridors of the First Temple, Doxa's innate talent for languages flourished as per the faith's conviction that Kahreol, the nation's mother tongue, was indeed the very first language extant, and infused with a unique and exclusive divinity.
Yet, the oppressive doctrines of the Kah, which sought to straitjacket thought and expression, chafed against Doxa's burgeoning sense of self.
