Thurgood Homestead III -

Following in his parents' footsteps, Thurgood Homestead III came to work at the Lorcaster University and quickly found a comfortable place in the organization in the literal dungeons of the University serving as a research assistant. Making his den deep in the catacombs, he quietly carried on his solitary duties on behalf of the various professors and students finding esoteric bits of long forgotten knowledge necessary for their research.

After several decades, his shell was heavy with bone and his head with knowledge. He finally felt he had learned all he could and desired to see more of the world before settling down. Unfortunately, the chaos of the succubus infestation of the student body delayed those plans. With his dour demeanour and frequently oblivious to humanoid social cues, the social contagion around him had no affect on him personally and so he stayed to help the afflicted wards of the university for a little longer. Ranala Fane, as a reward for his efforts, worked with him on a custom spellbook of his own design and promised to enchant it herself when the time came.

With most of the students subsequently healed mentally and physically, he is ready to set out on his first adventure. Even better, a message from Ranala Fane indicated that his spellbook was ready! Now if only one of the many books he has committed to memory just told him exactly where that next step would lead.
