Cala Ynys

On a Breakline

Cala Ynys is the only known island lying on a breakline. It has one town Cala with two harbors on both sides of the breakline, a small farming village and a mine. The storms that haunt most of the breaklines seem to stay away from this island, almost as if it's protected by some higher entity.

Trade

Cala Ynys economy thrives on its trade. As it forms a connection between Marine Territory and the wilder Pirate infested Rack-Tack Reefs, it gives many opportunities for merchants of all kinds of wares.

On the border of the law

The island of Cala Ynys is, together with the Daai Firtína Archipelago the last island that lies (partly) within the breaklines of the Marine Territory, but has not been assimilated as of yet.

Geography

Cala Ynys' geography is very vulcanic. It has a high mountain range that is very dangerous to enter, as the mountains are still very young and small vulcanic outbursts still happen from time to time.
