At age 15 Papas was being assaulted by unnamed Alpha in his Nest during one of his first Heats. He was rescued by 13 year old Killer - who murdered his assailant - and 9 year old Kidd Eustass- who kept him calm until they could relocate him to their untrespassed nest.
