Boeing AP Exosuit "Monk"

This is the only suit we sell at Boeing, because it's the only one you'll ever need. More maneuverable than an RIE; that's what we do at Boeing, make the best propulsion suites in the galaxy. But it's also got optional spellcraft modules, great combat capabilities, and projectile interception suites that bring the suit's superb evasion to the next level. Don't bother with any heavy weapons--you won't need 'em.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Boeing All-Purpose Exosuit is an ideal specimen of the Sol-based corporation's greater lineup of vehicles and self-propelled weaponry. While not necessarily faster than other speed-demon exosuits, such as the Staedt-Gregorivich RIE, practical defensive testing certainly gives that appearance. This is actually a result of the incredible, top-secret Boeing imaging/positioning software suite. A Monk's onboard computer will identify an incoming threat 9-12 microseconds faster than any other exosuit, which results in vastly improved reaction time. In order to capitalize on this, Boeing ships Monks with minimal armor and a massive power-to-weight ratio.

A wide array of minimized optional suites can be fitted onto the potent base frame. Certain special-purpose spellcraft drives are common, such as optical camouflage and energy weaponry. Martial arts loadouts are common, and can either emphasize small arms (such as in the KENSEI line), unarmed combat, or extreme maneuverability. A common mercenary loadout focusing strongly on maneuverability is lovingly called the "Drunken Master" setup, alluding to an apocryphal tale in which a heavily inebriated soldier single-handedly defeated a force of Gith in a modified Boeing AP Exosuit.
