The Friendly Man

Disquieting rumours speak of a mysterious passenger who came to manifest across Azeroth as Argus eclipsed the skyline and the hunt for the Sceptre of Alterac began. Said to be an indistinct figure, only demi-human in his form and always bearing an unwavering smile, the Friendly Man appeared to both aid and hinder the various factions hunting for the lost artifact. 
Disturbing and disorientating visions are said to have come in this otherworldly spectre's wake - many hinting to the existence of an ancient oubliette, long lost to time.
The Friendly Man has no been seen in many months, his presence apparently coinciding with the sceptre's accursed state, now long faded.
