Fascal Town is the capital of Fascal. It is known across The Continent of Frutuscore as The Town of Trades due to its most popular feature: the night market. At night, merchants from all nations can set up tents and shops to sell or show off their goods. Because of this, the population of Fascal is a mix of all the other nation's ethnicities.

Fascal Town is a people's place, where the influence of the masses can greatly influence their government. They hold elections for mayor and other seats in office. The current mayor of this fine town is Jonah "Gala" Appleseed, a wise and thoughtful old man who cares deeply for his people. While this is the initial mayor programmed in, this is likely to change due to the voting process that takes place every four years. This leads to a fair opportunity for all who are running and draws the attention of more people across the land. With the combination of the night market and their voting laws, Fascal's population growth is far greater than any of the other nations.

Demographics

The populace of Fascal Town is comprised of mostly Frutians, though there are many other ethnicities present due to the night market. Everyone is welcome here and there is no wealth hierarchy.

Government

The only government Fascal Town has is their mayor. Every four years, the citizens of the town may run for mayor. After a week long voting period, the one with the most votes becomes the mayor for the next four years.

Once a mayor is elected, they may assign whomsoever they please for the following jobs:

Master of the Markets: Overlooks the night market and makes sure transactions go through accordingly. If one wishes to set up a stall, this is the person you talk to. They also settle any disputes citizens may have with the night market.

Master of Land and Development: In charge of land, housing, and real-estate.

Master of Coin: In charge of banking and the treasury.

Master of Agriculture: In charge of farmland and the trading of produce.

Master of Labor: In charge of businesses, companies, and any organization where people work.

The Person's Committee: This committee is comprised of three people. They are responsible for hearing out any disputes, event suggestions, and comments people leave in their mail box. If they accept to take on one of the letters, it is then sent to the mayor for approval.

History

Fascal town was one of the first major towns founded on Frutuscore. It has a reputation of being one of the most friendly towns on the continent as well. Because of this reputation, many people traveled to it, bringing their goods and culture with them, eventually leading to the creation of the night market.
