Frutian

Frutians are thought to be the first people on the material Plane. They have the most history and date back WAY before Pitaya was even created. They can be found all over The Continent of Frutuscore, The Bling Islands, and The Sparkling Isles.

When Kiwano, God of Creation first created life, many believe the people he created were Frutians, relating to the Frutian nature of Kiwano himself. After the events of Kiwano's Pearl, Frutians found themselves in a whole new enviornment. Where they settled after this greatly infuenced how they adapted and evolved over time. Many believe Frutians to be where all other ethnicities evolved from.

A common trait between Frutians is a stem sticking out of their head. The stem is said to give off a slight scent depending on the person's mood & what fruit they are based off of. It's very faint and can only be smelled if up close.

Culture

Shared customary codes and values

Because Frutians can be found all over Frutuscore, their customs and values vary from location to location. This is a very unique aspect of Frutian culture, for no other ethnicity as as diverse or widespread. While the beliefs vary greatly, here is a short list of notable religions/ values different groups of Frutians have adapted overtime:

The Bling Islands: These Frutians are thought to be the first hit by Kiwano's flood. They found high ground and created shelter as the oceans rose all around them. Eventually, they found themselves on various islands, now separated by great lengths of water. Seeing the flood firsthand, they worshiped Kiwano and build their society around him and his values.

Fascal: These Frutians had already been exploring the mainland when the flood occurred and were somewhat unaffected by it, other than life sprouting all over the continent of course. Over time, they became their own people and founded many towns across the western side of Frutuscore as they gradually explored east. Their key values became freedom and being your own person. After Moya, Goddess of Freedom, these values only strengthened.

Azalea Desert: Those residing in this region were unaffected by the flood entirely. It is unsure why, but they received no aid from Kiwano and continued to live in a desolate landscape. It is believed these Frutians evolved into Dryfolk due to their climate and came to despise Kiwano, for they believed he never came to help them.

The Sparkling Isles: Much like those in the Bling Islands, they found themselves on a small chain of islands south of the continent. The serene beauty and peaceful environments inspired art and became the foundation of their culture. They later evolved into Bev'ragge.
