Jolly Genocide
Starting in the year 54 AM, the infamous pirate captain Jolly Ranch led multiple raids that targeted the Bling Islands, specifically islands that were inhabited. It is unknown what set off these sudden attacks, but many villages and tribes were wiped out because of it.
The Conflict
Prelude
There had been some reports of mysterious ships being seen in the distance off the coast of many islands. There had even been some incidents where ships calling themselves members of Jolly Ranch's crew attacked other ships. The Pearl Sea was dangerous already with the threat of this mysterious Jolly Ranch lurking in the open waters, but none could prepare for what came next.
Deployment
Sometime around 54AM one of Jolly Ranch's ships attacked a Bling Island, burning the village to the ground, killing or kidnapping the locals, and stealing anything they could find. This happened to several islands simultaniosuly, and over the next two decades would continue to unfortunate and unknowing villages all across the Bling Islands.
Battlefield
The battlefield was more like a slaughterhouse. With little to defend themselves against Jolly Ranch's cannonfire and sharp blades, the inhabitants of the Bling Islands were exceedingly outmatched.
Outcome
A lot of wildlife was hurt in these attacks, but the ecosystems bounced back eventually.
Aftermath
The people of the Bling Islands were forced to move to a new land, leaving their homes and loved ones behind. This has added an important new nation on The Continent of Frutuscore.
