Pitaya (a.k.a. God of Judgement)

Pitaya is the "middle child" of the three deities. He was created by Kiwano, God of Creation, to aid with the judgment of the mortals and to decide whether they are worthy of ascending to Reveri. Pitaya happily did so, casting those who led a good overall life to Reveri and those who didn't to be reincarnated through a process called The Judging of the Scales.

Once one dies, they arrive in Exodus. It is there one recieves their final judgement. Pitaya doesn't constantly watch over someone's life or nitpick every detail, but rather judge one's overall life once they reach him.

Artifacts

Pitaya's Scythe: It was never given an official name but remains just as terrifying. His scythe is currently in Exodus with Pitaya and is used to manipulate the souls that reach him. Only Pitaya or Kiwano can wield the scythe for it is. VERY heavy.

The Scales of Judgement: The set of scales in Exocus Pitaya uses to judge souls.

The Forgotten Throne: When Kiwano banished Pitaya to Exodus he gave him nothing but Pitaya's scale, scythe, the clothes on his back, and a crude stone throne. Pitaya sits upon the throne and judges souls from it. It's worn, cracked, and oh so very dusty.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Pitaya is quite toned. He claims it's from carrying the world on his shoulders for centuries and the weight of all the Mortal's sins, but it's probably just from wielding his huge scythe.

Body Features

Pitaya has a gap in his midsection, his two half loosely held together by some skin flaps.

Facial Features

Sharp teeth & no eyes.

Identifying Characteristics

His blindfold and sythe are used to represent him most commonly, other than his Scale of Judgement of course.

Special abilities

Pitaya has the ability to control souls, tear gateways between realms, and control the weather. And taking after his father, when Pitaya shows great deals of anger, he can cause the earth to crack around him.

Apparel & Accessories

Pitaya wears tattered rags, "ripped apart by the sin of humanity" so he says.

Specialized Equipment

Pitaya wields a large golden scythe adorned with a small scale scale on the back. It is rumored this scythe can rip open reality and create gateways between realms such as the Material Plane, Exodus, Reveri, and even Limbo. It can also be used to control souls. During Pitaya's judging process, if one's soul is subjected to returning to the Material Plane, it is believed Pitaya cuts the soul in half in order to return it from whence it came. It can also cut things in half :)

Pitaya was created by Kiwano, God of Creation, to aid with the judgment of the mortals and to decide whether they are worthy of ascending to Reveri. This was once done on the Material Plane, but after Moya's arrival and Pitaya's banishment to Exodus, the judging was then moved there as well.

Since then, Pitaya has spent nearly the last century in Exodus, solemnly carrying out his task.

Failures & Embarrassments

Attempting to fight his father and being cast down to the Material Plane. It was in this fight Pitaya lost his eyes and his reign over the Material Plane.

Motivation

It is unclear what Pitaya's motivations are. Some think he wants revenge on his sister and father while others believe it's the followers who want this and not actually Pitaya himself. He has been banished away in solitude for so long at this point, who's to say what changes he might have gone through.
