The Overseers

OVERVIEW

The Overseers is a secret organization created by AMMO that work under her command. They are a group of AI tasked with patrolling the many worlds within the R.O.L.L. Project, staying alert and making sure there aren't any bugs or viruses. The group is highly secretive, for only AMMO knows the finer details such as the different member's locations, appearance, and names. She is even hesitant to share said information with other members of the A.M.M.O. Corporation, for the risk of any info getting out would ruin the Overseer's task. Some believe that this is the start of some AI revolution and that AMMO is secretly building an army, but Charles Mo. assures none of that is true.

While the Overseer's main goal is to monitor the worlds and eliminate any bugs or viruses, their secondary goal is to collect as much data from said bugs/ viruses as possible, all while not disturbing the natural progression of each world's growth. To do this, an Overseer might infiltrate a world, blending into it and becoming part of the simulation. They will analyze the best way to deal with the threat without disturbing the simulation while also gathering as much data as possible and sending it back to AMMO. This data will be used for future reference to ensure the problem doesn't pop up again. Once enough data is collected, the Overseer will eliminate the threat, possibly re-coding a small portion of the world to fix any damage they might have caused. This is not the optimal outcome, but can often be the case.

WHAT WE KNOW

While knowledge of the Overseers is limited, there is some data AMMO shared with the rest of the company just to let them know how the process works. There are five Overseers, each designed to take care of a different problem. One might repair broken code while another hunts down and eliminates viruses. Much like AMMO, each of the Overseers has a "preferred form," though they can change their appearance to best fit their current scenario. Lastly, while AMMO is technically the head Overseer, she has delegated responsibility of managing the other Overseers to one member of the group. The main Overseer and AMMO's right hand, an AI named AXIS.

Overall, the main goal of the Overseers is to keep users safe. More might be made in the future as more worlds are created and the R.O.L.L. Project expands. While the idea of figures hiding in plain sight might be scary, just remember, they're here to improve the overall experience, and most importantly, keep you safe :)
