Zachary Brach (a.k.a. Zach)

Zachary is a guard serving under Amai Poppu for The Roripop Kingdom. His rank is Grand Officer.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

He does a lot of training, so he is fairly toned. He likes to practice horse-back/jousting a lot as well.

Identifying Characteristics

His tooth that got knocked out, and is replaced with a fake one that looks like candy corn. The candy corn barrette that he wears in his hair is another iconic feature.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

He grew up in the upper-class, always getting whatever he asked for. He only had one parent: his father. But, his father was off doing other things, so he wasn't around much. Though, it didn't bother him. It gave him more time to wander in the large outdoor garden and pull mean pranks on the maids.

His father paid for him to go to the most prestigious schools, but that doesn't mean he was smart. He liked to slack off and skip class a lot. After all, his dad would just pay for him to get into the next one if he ever got kicked out.

Eventually, his father cracked down on his parading around by enrolling him in Duke Klondike's Knight Academy. His father told him that if he didn't try and succeed in graduating, then he wouldn't enroll him in another school and kick him out of the house.

Zach didn't want to loose his only source of money, so he took the threat seriously. Over time, he grew to actually develop a passion for becoming a knight, even going as far to set the royal guard goal for himself. He found friends, albeit shaky ones, in Kora Mell, Brooklyn "Tootsie" Hirschfield, and Kroger Marsh.

That all changed, however, when Caven Bunch enrolled. Caven, although he was younger and had been there for less time than him, was picking up things quickly. Jealousy began to blossom. After all, how could someone that grew up from his background be better than someone from Zach's?

He would often berate Caven behind his back with the other two of his crew. After a while of them not trying very hard to disguise what they were doing, Caven confronted them. When Zach brought up Burro Bunch, Caven lashed out and hit him. All hell broke loose after that, giving Zach full permission to corner and beat Caven with Kora's help.

After doing it for long enough, and after one specific event, it scared/convinced Caven to leave and never come back. With Caven out of the way, he was able to shine and complete his years of training with no further hiccups. He grew to the ranks of being Grand Officer (one rank below Kroger, acting as his right-hand) and happily serves under Amai Poppu.

Mental Trauma

Due to him growing up without true parental figures, he never learned how to police his own behavior and is often very mean. It has its place in being a guard, though. The only close friends he has are two people he bullied into being his friends. Though, he does genuinely think that's how people are supposed to treat each other and does view them as good friends.
