Clara Oculus is passed down genetically, either through being sired by a vampire with this condition or a vampire with this condition having a biological child.

Symptoms

Clara Oculus causes the affected vampire to have non-red eyes. The color of their eyes is dictated by the type of clara oculus they have. Oftentimes, the eye color is unnaturally bright, dark, or an unnatural color amongst the human population.

Treatment

There is no treatment, however, it is harmless, so there is no research being done into it.

Hosts & Carriers

Carriers of the clara oculus gene almost always show the signs of the condition.

Cultural Reception

Vampires affected by clara oculus tend to be judged subtly by other vampires; it isn't obvious, but their body language changes slightly. They may have a tendancy to stare at or mistake the vampire as a human.
