○ Unbeknown to him, Eldrvarí was a former Old God known as Istalrí, now reincarnated on The World. One of the last followers of The Old God Valkyrie, he was slain by Brandish and Fell before they made their move on her. As the Old God of War, Valkyries followers were imbued with an arcane ability to resurrect in order to follow their leader. Once she was slain and thrown to The World below, her now leaderless soldiers had no Goddess to resurrect for, and thus their spirits were held in a sort of Limbo in the tethers between the Firmament and the World.
After thousands of years have passed since The Fall of the Old Gods, and the Great Migration is in full swing, the last remnants of Valkyrie's Aura eventually pushes through a tether, and with it, the spirit of Istalrí. An imperfect resurrection, each birth, he holds no memory of his past life. Despite this, he is driven by an almost instinctual drive to resurrect his Goddess. Whether this is even possible is yet to be seen. He is an imperfect homunculi of both Mortal Man and Celestial Old God.
Unnaturally long lived, due to his Celestial blood, but not immortal due to his resurrection being on the Mortal Plane, he has lived many lives in the passing millennia. Each life eventually degrading into a madness, driven by his instinct to bring about a celestial coup he does not even understand. Each death undone, as he is born again at the foot of another Tether to the Firmament, unable to fully pass on upon his demise. He simply awakes into another body, amnesiac and of the perceived age of Istalrí upon his death (15), to live another life. He is cursed to continually be reborn and live a life of madness as he succumbs to the drives in his mind that make no sense to himself or those around him.
Each rebirth carries no memories of the last life, and his features shift slightly as well, as his spirit trapped in the Tether leeches from the spirit of random people in the vicinity to build his next reincarnation. Thus, after thousands of lives, none have caught on to his cursed existence, not even himself, as any records or other peoples memories of the man he has been are under different names and faces than the one he currently inhabits with each concurrent life.
He currently is known by the name Eldrvarí, a Human Male of 18, having last been reborn 3 years before.
