Possessed

Possessed are any creature who has had a hex put upon them to be controlled by a demonic entity. Possessed slowly waste away, their bodies energies feeding the demon that they ferry, until the creature is powerful enough to break free of its mortal shell and become tangible. At this point the Possessed are little more than walking corpses, cursed to endure and eternal torment of anti-life until the demonic passenger inhabiting them breaks free and roams on its own accord. Possessed required particular runes and incantations be carved into their bodies, which will glow as the demonic host enters and takes root within them.
