The Òran of Siubhal Dàna

The Òran of Siubhal Dàna

The Òran of Siubhal Dàna is a tome of the collected adventures of the legendary hero Lennon Aisling. It is written in many different forms; poetry, letters, historical accounts, epistles, collected documents, oral transcriptions, etc. The tome forms a loose story recounting the adventures of Lennon from childhood up until his later years, just prior to his assumed death. The Òran was discovered in an ancient cairn, believed to be the final resting place of Lennon. Despite its age, the Òran is remarkably well preserved and has been translated into many languages before being translated into the World Common language. Due to his place in World History, the Òran serves as one of the few surviving documents post Migration that depict life during this time period. Although the Òran is written as a boastful hero's journey, much depicted in its stories has been proven accurate, and as such the Òran is seen as a historical document more than a fable/parable.
