Witchborn

Witchborn are those born with cursed Aura blood. They are born inherently tied to the cursed Aura that fuels the corrupted magics and are destined to wield these dark forbidden magics. They are also usually born tied to a fiendish being of some kind as well. Many Witchborn have 'passengers', who are unseen by others, but follow them through their whole lives. Witchborn are often seen conversing with their 'passenger', and mistaken for madmen. Witchborn can choose to be celibate towards their talents and lead relatively normal lives, as being Witchborn does not make you inherently evil. Other Witchborn, with extensive training, can learn to wield their magics in a more positive way, although the dark magics will still take a toll on their bodies.
Depending on how they lead their lives, and how they wield their magics, their passenger may decide to consume them upon their death. Being consumed by their passenger is cursing them to an eternal torment in the lower levels of the hellish realms. Others are able to eventually mold their passenger into a being of good, and are able to pass on to the higher planes with their passenger upon death.
