Energetic Attunement
2nd Level Evocation
A single target’s essence is temporarily attuned to a specific type of energy, providing it with one of the following bonuses. Roll 1d8 to see which energy is applied:- Acid. The skin of the target becomes coated in a thin layer of highly acidic slime. The first time the target takes damage from a melee attack per turn, the attacker takes 1d6 acid damage.
- Cold. The target’s weapon is covered in frigid ice. When the target successfully damages an opponent, that opponent cannot take the disengage action until the end of their next turn.
- Fire. The target’s body grows molten hot. When a creature ends their turn within 5 feet of the target, they take 1d6 fire damage.
- Force. The target’s limbs begin building force up within them. The first successful melee attack the target performs per round against an opponent up to one size larger than the target knocks the opponent prone.
- Lightning. The target’s weapons are charged with heavy lightning. Once per round, when the target successfully deals damage to a creature within 5 feet with a weapon attack, a second creature within 5 feet of both the target and the original creature takes 1d6 lightning damage.
- Necrotic. The touch of undeath creeps around the target. Whenever the target successfully deals damage to a living creature within 5 feet, the target receives 1d6 temporary hit points.
- Radiant. The light of the Heavens glistens against the weapons of the target. Whenever the target successfully deals damage to a creature within 5 feet, a second creature within 5 feet of both the target and the original creature receives 1d6 temporary hit points.
- Thunder. Thunderous booms strike out around the target. The first creature the target damages becomes deafened until the end of their next turn.
