Fruit from W'en Yah. Grows on a vine. Tough rind, strong and flexible as leather when boiled. Sweet and spicy inside, best when grilled. The leaves of a simon can be ground into a pain relieving and fever reducing medicine. The seeds are edible but are a bit sour.
