The Oaktarel river begins deep in the northwestern Trident mountains, winding its way southeast to Lakeland were it joins the Lambridge River near Cliffvale. Known for its treacherous rapids and its crystal clear ice cold glacial waters, the northwestern portion of the Oaktarel river is among the most treacherous on the continent.
