Appearance

Akuna has eyes that are closest to the color blue, but also have green and grey in them. Her hair is a medium-brown color, going to her collarbone, with wispy bangs in the front. She was pale while living in the poles during her time in the Water Tribe, but has developed a tan since moving to the swamp. Her face is covered with freckles. She is seen wearing a multitude of swamp-themed clothing.

Personality

Silver-Tongued and overexcited. She is very very passionate about her ideas, while also being passionate about the Swamp and takes offense to those who say bad things about her home. She's smart and learns any Water Bending/ Chi fighting style fast. Quick thinking, she makes decisions fast, whether they are the correct one, who knows?

Life

Born in the foggy swamp tribe with her brother Giotok, the two often spent a lot of time with their two parents, however, when Akuna was 16 and Giotok was 17, their parents were murdered, and both Giotok and Akuna separated to join the military. Akuna left the swamp and moved to the south. She learned the basics of water bending with Irelia. Following promotion to the Fire Nation diplomat, she had moved back to Glowfly Grotto, in the FST. Very passionate about her swamp home, she serves as an elder, since becoming an independent nation from the Water Tribe. She has moved to Banyan Bayou, in the Foggy Swamp Tribe, and adopted a child, Kyia.

Akuna was able to rank up to the title of Swamp Chief, serving alongside her longtime friend, Miara. Throughout her chiefdom alongside Miara, the two historically dealt with some of the first and only military conflicts, resulting in the expanse of the peninsula, gaining the land that now includes Chin's village. Chief Akuna is also credited with the establishment of the first Foggy Swamp military force, the fort she oversaw construction on stands in her name. It was during this push that the swamp was able to obtain a strong alliance with the Fire Nation. This bond was sealed through blood and battle against the Water Tribe in the great war Steam Sea War. Eventually, Chief Akuna gained the respect of the great tribe of Nahaut and secured an alliance with their nation as well. Alongside Miara, she fell in love. The two chiefs celebrated both their love and the end of their chiefdom, appointing Suluk as the next chief. Some say in moments of silence, you can hear them skipping stones across the rivers together, in a cottage deep in the swamp.
