Eastern Elder Yua steps down to become Guru and is succeeded by Eastern Elder Avia.

For these past few months I've had the delight of leading the Eastern Air Temple. As a Grandmaster, I never anticipated that I would become an Elder- especially the Elder of Eastern. The day I given the choice to become an Elder was a special one, it opened the door and provided me with many new opportunities.

I've greatly enjoyed my time as an Elder and my time in this nation overall, it's been a year already which feels unimaginable, still I'm immensely grateful for our community and the person I've grown to be here. It's time to pass on the torch to another, I've served my time as an Elder and am proud of what Geemo and I have started for Eastern thus far. I'm elated to continue as a Guru and welcome a new Elder, an individual that no one can beat in dedication and their deserving of the role.

She's a kind, fierce, and determined person. As an Abbess, she has put in extreme effort to allow Southern to reach its full potential. She's always building a ceremony or avatar room for her temple, working on some project or collaborating with other people. She was a major force in founding the Emissary branch/role, proving her outstanding leadership and planning. She's persistent and doesn't give up, something we all admire about her. I have never been more trusting that a person would fulfil the role of Elder so well, she has proved time and time again that she is more than fit and ready for the role, and someone that I am sure Southern will miss greatly.

Welcome the new Eastern Elder, Avia.
