Fire Lord Liv invites peoples from all nations to attend her coronation in the Fire Nation Event Hall.

At the Coronation of Fire Lord Liv, Earth Monarch Belan is assassinated by an unknown perpetrator. Arguments and accusations break out from all sides, with Prince Ayato, Belan's successor, blaming the Fire Nation for his sibling's death.

The world telegraph brings you breaking news from the events that took place during Fire Lord Liv’s coronation.
Earth Monarch Belan has been assassinated today during the coronation of Fire Lord Liv. What was thought to be the beginning of a new era of peace has turned into a violent spectacle. Today’s events began with the coronation of Fire Lord Liv, who promised to lead the Fire Nation into greatness. Earth Monarch Belan then joined her on the stage and announced that they look forward to working together and improving relationships between their nations. However before Belan could finish their speech, a flaming arrow pierced through their heart, killing them. Belan’s last moments were shared with their brother Prince Ayato and Grand Secretariat Boshi who barely had time to grieve before their emotions turned to anger.
Arguments and accusations broke out from both sides, and the crowd fled the scene fearing further attacks from Belan’s assassin. Prince Ayato blames the Fire Nation for the death of Earth Monarch Belan despite the Fire Lord’s claims that they are not responsible. Avatar Tamiko sympathizes with the Earth Kingdom’s grief but urges them to try and listen to the Fire Nation and try to prevent war. Will this lead into the next Great War? Or will justice be achieved without violence?
