The History of Ayun Sovos so far
The most ancient civilization known to the Sovants lived ages upon ages ago, but no one knows exactly what happened to them. Remnants of their empires can be found throughout the world, but mostly in dangerous biomes and locations that only experienced adventurers are able to reliably dive into and retrieve relics from. Despite the relics already found, no major historical information has yet been uncovered.
Current Species & Cultures
Many different sophontic species can be found throughout Ayun Sovos, taking on forms reminiscent of the world's wildlife, but slightly anthropomorphized. Humans as we know them do not exist in the world, except in fairy tales and peculiar myths, or as figments of the imagination.
The people of Ayun Sovos can be fairly reliably sorted into two categories, with some exceptions: Artisan and Adventurer!
Needs & Relations
Artisans of the world come in all shapes, sizes, and skill levels, but one factor always remains: they require the aid of adventurers to procure the materials and resources needed to keep their projects moving forward.
Likewise, adventurers rely on artisans of the world to teach them new lessons and equip them with stronger gear so that they may advance as adventurers and take on greater missions.
All people of Ayun Sovos, whether Artisan or Adventurer (or neither!) strive to create a brighter world through the art of the craft.
