This is a regular multi-use fabric face mask with a somewhat uncommon pattern bought from a vending machine in the Red section of The Station.

History

This face mask was produced by xXlice during a new season run. This specific pattern isn’t produced any more and is considered uncommon among the face mask collectors. This face mask was purchased in 3025 AR By Ezzy.

Use

Ezzy is a well known online entertainer who purchased the mask to hide their face when they are out and about in the IRL world. Because of two large pandemics a part of the population wears face masks while out in public which means that Ezzy will blend into the crowd.
When they are outside without bodyguards they usually go out to run or hang out with friends. Something that bothers them is that they can’t eat out with friends while wearing the mask. But they can’t have everything.

One of the ear bands on their old mask had torn loose when they were out running during an early morning. They knew that a mask vending machine stood in the area and headed over to purchase this seasons mask.
When they reached the vending machine another person was already standing in front of the machine. Ezzy stopped a bit away from the machine and the person and waited for the person to purchase their item and move away from the machine.
Ezzy watched as the person picked up a face mask from the vending machine and headed away. Ezzy walked over to the vending machine only to see that the vending machine was out of face mask. Ezzy stomped a foot and grumbled. They would’ve crossed their arms if they hadn’t been holding the damaged mask against their face with one of their hands. They sighed. They would have to head home and then have one of their assistants or a bodyguard get them a new one to use while out.
“Do you need this one?” The voice startled them and they turned around to look at the person who had just left.
