The Transformation

The Autumnal equinox is the third of the significant three holidays in the Worship of Rillifane Rallathil known as The Transformation, which is to celebrate change.

History

While the official history of the Transformation is not well documented outside the high temple, the basis for it is evident.

Execution

The Transformation is particularly essential to those who seek a change to their lives or spiritual rebirth. The Transformation is marking the arrival of autumn and transition of colors in the leaves of the forest, and it stands as a celebration of Rillifane Rallathil's  promise that the trees will bloom again and that life is eternally renewed.   The followers of Rillifane Rallathil bring a carved wooden item that represents the change they would like to see in their lives. After a day of prayer at the temple or shrine, they are given an acorn. They are instructed to plant either in their house to nurse a sapling for eventual replanting or plant it directly upon their property.

Observance

Observed on the 22nd of Collection (September), the Transformation varies from year to year in those places which more focus on the direct autumnal equinox.
