The Shattered Sea

An ocean with numerous small to medium sized islands scatered throughout.
History
Long before the Empire, during The Titan War, as dragons and giants fought each other for control over the skies. The largest battle between these two races was at/above the area now known as The Speckled Sea. Hundreds if not thousands of dragons and giants fought, killed, and died during this battle and many of them fell as they dies into the land and waters below. There used to be far more connected land masses in the area of the Speckled Sea but due to the fighting and the massive bodies hitting the land, much of what land mass there was was destroyed or seperated from the land that remains today. This event left the area with far more islands and odd terrain than the larger islands that had been before. This event also seperated many people groups/families (those still alive) as much usable land was destroyed and some who once shared an island may have now been on completely different islands.
