Dwarves
The dwarves were the most populous sapient race during the dark days and the cold age. But after the Silver Rain the Humans returned to ûnduleah and are increasing in numbers quickly.
Dwarves are a hardy, cold-resistant, tough and dextrous race. Well equiped to deal with cold environments.
Dwarves are above all community driven. While they are individual people, they will do nearly anything for the good of the community. They strive for balance in all living things, and are an open, welcoming, caring people.
They are however slow to adapt, slow to change their mind, and religiously stick to their ancient traditions. Their open nature also makes them naive, opening up weaknessess to exploit by more devious minds.

Their feet are wide and large and while they have short fingers, they are nimble and strong.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Dwarves have great hearing, sight and smell. But not so great sense of taste or touch. (which is why their food is considered bland by the other races).
They are emotionally attuned to other beings, even able to occasionally sense the intentions of non-sapient beings like wild animals.
Civilization and Culture
History
Dwarves were created by the Ancients during the Ancient times. They lived as one race of dwarves among the Ancients, the humans, the Quoyah and the animals.
After the strife of the Ancients, the dwarves were shepherded to underground cave systems by the Six-legged Ancients to keep them safe. After several earthquakes they were locked underground and lived in the underground caverns during the Dark Days.
After a few hundred years, another earthquake opened up access to the surface again, though it had become much colder. The time of chiefs, the cold age had begun. During these days the dwarves lived in small communities near lava Rifts . Occassionally sending envoys to nearby clans to exchange knowledge, resources and genes. During these times the surface dwelling dwarves separated into two ethnicities: Kádi Dwarves and the Dîn Dwarves . The dwarves that had stayed underground were once again locked there by an earthquake.
When the The Silver Rain came, the climate warmed again, allowing for easier travel during the year. It also became easier to acquire food, so their populations rose as well. In a quest to find this mysterious heat-source, they settled near the orange Celestial Shards in the Laraki Mountains, and founded the joint city of Keadin .
