Kal Meur
Kal Meur, or the marvelous Crystal City, is a marvel of the kingdom. The city seats the crown, the Sovereign Council, as well as roughly 3,500,000 citizens and guards. The soldiers that closely follow the crowns' wishes throughout the kingdom are known as the Black Cloaks. The city also is home to the lead scientist and creator of the Autoguard, Morgan Silversun. Kal Meur is situated nicely at the base of a mountain ridge in the Mountains of Secrets. The river that feeds from the peak of the mountain flows down past the city and into the Azzuri Sea.
Districts
The districts that make up the city of Kal Meur are almost completely similar to Azzure. There is the Militant District, the Everfalls District, the Conqueror's Ledge, the Financial District, and the Port District.
The Militant District houses most of the Black Cloaks and is a regular spots for recruitment into the ranks of the Sovereign army. The Everfalls District is the second wealthiest district, falling just short of the Conqueror's Ledge. The Everfalls District is where many of the budding new noble houses carve out a place for themselves Usually through illegal activities only known by the elite. The Conqueror's Ledge is where the crown rules from and where the Sovereign Council meet up for the meetings concerning the realm.
History
Kal Meur is surprisingly not the oldest city in the kingdom, however after the famous half-giant Yemen the Valient slain the last of the lizardfolk guarding an ancient black dragon and drove it out of the cave systems, he declared victory and planted his seat at the mountain top.
Geography
The city is carved on the side of a mountain face with the main city at the base near the start of the river that leads towards the Azzuri Sea. The seat of the crown and the sovereign council are located higher up on the Conqueror's Ledge, a cliff that overlooks the city and out towards the sea which can be see far off in the distance.
Climate
The climate is usually temperate year round with slight chance for snow in the winter seasons.
