Shelter of the Sisterhood

A womens shelter run by the Sisterhood of Blood. They offer women who ran away from their home a usually temporary place to stay and find a better solution for themselves and their children. The biggest group are women who ran away from their abusive husbands and teenagers who ran away from their family.   The sisterhood then provides them with resources to find a temporary home. In return they take blood donations. Some of the women also join the sisterhood and stay in the shelter.   The shelter is an unassuming building in a residential neighbour hood. There are a number of spaces in the building. In the entrance there is some security and an information desk. There are a few communial spaces like a living room, a cantina. Then there are administartive offices and session rooms. Most of the rooms are private quarters for the women who come here for help. They are mostly private rooms for a single person or a person with children.   The entrance room is a very welcoming and homey space. It is the first space where newcomers enter and anyone who returns from outside. Within this room is always at least one sister for security and to welcome anyone entering. They check that all the people are allowed to be here and keep everyone who isn't outside.   The individual quarters are simple. There are around fifty rooms with various configurations. Some for a single person, others for two or three. Some rooms are equipped to house a women with one or more children. Each room has some furniture, some pictures or simple art pieces on the walls left behind by previous occupants and in most cases a potet plant. The plants are always ones that are easy to keep alive.
