Hanged Kobold Inn

A small slightly dilapidated two-story building in stone standing next to a ruined building. It is a miracle that the inn itself hasn't collapsed. The moss covered tile roof has collapsed on several places and deludes of leakage during rain and snow. There is smoke coming from one of the three chimneys. Above a surprisingly sturdy wooden door hangs a wooden sign with a painted kobold hanging in a noose. A lantern swings next to the sign.
Inside, the common room radiates a surprisingly warm and cozy feeling. The eyes are immediately drawn to a large stone fireplace that is lit with a color-shifting flame. Above the mantle piece hangs a crude wooden shield and a small viscous spear. There are a few small tables and chairs spread out in the room. A door leads to the kitchen and a small rickety stair leads up to the second floor.
