Stojanow Gate

The mighty Stojanow Gate is rumored to have been built by the ancient craftmanship of fire giants. The enormous vaulted monument stands almost 20 meters high, with 10 meter thick walls stretching over 30 meters between the two channels of the Stojanow River. Two massive ironbound doors seal the gate in times of war.
Now the massive gate is the headquarters for the Knights of the Black Fist and the only entrance to Valjevo Castle. Criminals apprehended in Phlan are imprisoned within eventually hung from the Stojanow Gate.
