Avi'da receives a job from her contact in the Circle of Liberty, setting her and her fledgling crew on a course for the planet Petimon.

The Glass Storm takes 7 days to travel through hyperspace to reach the planet of Petimon.

Once there, Avi'da and Candy investigate the small town of Verrock, and accept the job from its mayor.

They hike to an old abandoned High Republic outpost and meet a band of marauders led by the Kaleesh warrior Runda. They aid her in breaking into the outpost to retrieve data that can help her heal her home planet of Commenor. They fight and defeat the outpost's droid guardians and retrieve the data.

Avi'da and Candy let Runda and her unit leave and wait to receive their payment in the morning. When morning comes, they talk to the mayor and get paid, but the town is attacked by the Black Sun, a criminal syndicate. They are looking for a force-sensitive woman. They capture the two, but their leader, an ugnaught, realizes that Candy isn't the woman he's looking for. He orders them to be killed.

His target emerges from the shadows! Reva ambushes the criminals and beats them back, causing them to retreat and fly away. Tora feels her presence and all four of them meet and talk. Reva offers to come with the help young Tora understand his force powers. Then they head off to refuel on Cato Neimoidia.
