The Final Battle of the Galactic Civil War.

A Rebel strike force infiltrated the moon to disable the energy shield protecting the second Death Star. The Rebel Armada launched a full-scale attack to destroy the station. Luke Skywalker boarded the Death Star and killed both Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine.

The Final Battle of the War of the Rebellion.

Orbiting above the forest moon of Endor, the second Death Star was still under construction and thought to be non-operational. The Galactic Emperor, Sheev Palpatine, landed on the space station in order to oversee the final phase of construction, with his Supreme Commander Darth Vader at his side.

The Rebellion sent a strike team to infiltrate Endor to deactivate the energy shield protecting the Death Star II. Simultaneously, Luke Skywalker, the last Jedi, let himself be captured by Darth Vader so that he could be brought to the Emperor and face him.

The Rebel Armada launched a full-scale attack on the station to destroy it, kill the Emperor, and destroy the Empire forever. However, when they jumped to Endor, they found the energy shield still on, and the Death Star fully-operational.

Led by Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Leia Organa, the Rebel strike team destroyed the shield generator on Endor. Their window now open, General Lando Calrissian flew the Millenium Falcon into the core of the Death Star, destroying it, before fleeing the ensuing explosion.

At the same time, Luke Skywalker met face-to-face with the Emperor and Darth Vader. While the exact details are fuzzy, it is known that Luke fought both heads of the Empire and slew the Emporer. He brought Darth Vader's body back to the moon of Endor and gave him the funeral rites of a Jedi.
