The Arconium

Created by Nimren Keepeir, it has a special spell that allows the king to write in it even from beyond the grave. The runes engraved on its cover hold a piece of his soul allowing him to manipulate it at will. The spell has only been achieved twice before and the knowledge of its very existence has been lost to time. The book has been lost and rumour has it that it was given to the first king of Meresia. However, it was said to have been destroyed during The Battle of Houlbeard's Terror where the king, King Ivon Iskandervel, destroyed it to stop further attempts to gain its power and wealth of knowledge.
The creator still writes in it to this day. No one knows if the king did destroy it or whether it was hidden but it is yet to have been revealed.
