The spirit Akathia is a divine figure, and member of the Four Creators which crafted Virosia in times immemorial. Akathia's domain revolves around natural change and the course of what is right. That is to say not what is right morally, but what must come to pass."Their alternation is paramount to their efficacy. After the last Divine Word, she was said to have created the process of change, setting things in motion that would butterfly into what they are today.
The Form Of Change
Though spirits are sort of beyond gender, she preferred to be refered to as a woman and took the form of one, if roughly. She was also known to have taken the form of trees and plants, as well as monsters with humanoid features. Her residence had always been the Akathian Peninsula, where sits the largest forest on Virosia to this day. Akathia used to be one of the most well-spoken to of the spirits. Her temple in the thick of the Akathian Peninsula was a well traveled point centuries ago, but has since been reclaimed by nature as the mythraleviatha have made the forest a terrible danger. Thus, after the release of the Ambyphala, expeditions to consult with her halted for many decades. When they restarted, they found that the way is still extremely dangerous, requiring extremely skilled warriors or mythmakers as guides, and that when they arrived at her temple, it was vacant, or rather, completely overrun by fauna and foliage. Thus, it is suspected that Akathia wanders the forest in new forms, or has left her peninula altogether, in search of a new home that indeed she might have already found. Many followers have tried to pursue her, with the ideal of a new home being founded, as Aleryn was.As A Namesake
The Realm of Akathia is named after this spirit, and for good reason. Indeed, it's not really even known if her name came before or after the realm, they simply emerged as one.
