Korvyre
Passing and Rememberance
This spirit is the most reclusive of them all, and the only one to maintain the tower created by Vulkjornn for them in the Age of Towers. Behind the Yrchin Gate, Korvyre is seen as an omen of death and malice in the world, despite never having made action against its inhabitants. In truth, his neutrality is often his reputation's undoing, for it is known that they have the power to prevent death, though never exercises it. This has caused great outcry for those that have looked for immortality, and for great heroes that sook this power."That tower, indeed the last remaining for its original purpose, is more a vault than a home. As nothing of an afterlife can truly be known, what happens within those black iron walls is more of a heaven than I can surmise we shall ever see. Perhaps even a more permanent immortality than that of the shaelarae." -Death's Dinner Table, Chapter Seven: PreludeKorvyre's domains include death, time, mourning and inevitability.
The Blackwrought Tower
Korvyre is the least well-known of the spirits, even by the Talii, who make a point to revere his spiritual guidance with utmost importance. Behind an enormous wall of unknown origin in the north of the Yrchin Wilderness, he resides within the Blackwrought Tower, costructed by Vulkjornn during the Age of Towers. Due to the region and wall, access to Korvyre's home and therefore seeing him is by far the most rare of any of the spirits, save Akathia who has not been seen for centuries, though in her time, visits were a frequent occurence. It's understood that Korvyre interacts with those passing on in some capacity, but the scale or meaning of this is not well understood. His answers regarding his interactions with those that are dying are vague and inconsice, though some that return describe his tower as more of a library than anything else. His histories, however, are quite elaborate, and he has a detailed leger of most things of import across Virosia.
