Wyrm's False Tears

While the Tears of the Wyrm are a liquid gold that has empowered humans magically since the first of the Wyrms decided to teach us agriculture, the False Tears are a more physical and mundane byproduct.
They're created when a dragon's breath weapon, namelly fire and lightning, is applied to certain varieties of stone. As the heat melts the stone, turning it into slag, a particular byproduct can be spotted falling amongst the rest of the glowing dregs. These teardrops of molten stone are actually a ceramic byproduct created by the incredible heat of the dragon's breath and it's continual application, and are most easily picked out by the little bounce they do when they hit the ground, as they cool incredibly quickly falling through the air and impact the ground as a solid with signifigant ability to ricochet around before settling.
If one were to gather a significant enough amount of these false teardrops, several boulders or more, you'd have a formidible ore to be made into armor or a weapon. The resulting cermic needs a not-easily-formed heat source to be melted down and worked or cast, but the resulting products are beyond compare.
Armor is the most common, as Aetherform is still the most popular choice for long lasting and damaging weapons, and False Tear Armor exists within the zeitgeist as a material of armors of legend, able to withstand almost nay punishment you throw at it, even into the modern day. From knives and bullets to battleships and dragons.
