Charlemagne, the Shadar-Kai wildfire druid, as beautiful as she is deadly, though not without a heart...
Ocarin Stonehollow, the half-risen dwarvish bard whose soul may yet need to be recovered...
And, Warren Peace, a beast of a man who has taken charge of a serious burden...
Fate has seen to it to entangle their paths, though the question of their future yet remains - will they survive the Devil himself, the Dreadlord, Strahd von Zarowich?
Captain Vorthos D'Artagnan awoke to an empty and unfamiliar shore, cast from the wreck of his own dinghy, he made his way into the mists in search of answers.
All the while, Charlemagne, Ocarin, and Warren were well on their way between a dark and occluded monastery and the now forgotten home of Stonehollows passed / Stonehollow's past. The trio intended to revisit Ocarin's previous life in an effort to reconnect him with his memories, however, dark forces conspired to a different end. While making camp along a well traveled road the trio were taken by an oppressive mist - alone but for the faint, distant beats of strange drums and chants.
