The Daughters of House Forgeborne have historically provided nearly all of the empire's famed Stoneseerss. This has positioned the women of House Forgeborne as equals in the empire, nearly unheard of in the otherwise patriarchal Dwarven society. As a result of their elevated position in Orimid society, many Empresses of the Empire have reigned including Empress Fodrostr Forgeborne also known as the Stone Empress, for being the first Empress who was also a Stoneseer.
