Ambrysis

Ambrysis is a large Island in the far east of The Conflux Sea, and home to the city of Basarra. The entire Island lies under the jurisdiction of Tirel, though most of the island is close to or entirely uninhabited, as only the central parts are really capable of supporting civilization on a large scale.
The outskirts of Ambrysis are haunted by droughts and dust storms, and only few things grow here even in the calm seasons. Despite this, the refugee crisis of the past 10 years has caused more and more people to settle in the outskirts, either eking out an existence or turning to banditry.
