You infuse your blood with otherworldly energy, causing it to turn to vile caustic acid upon being exposed to the open air. For the duration of the spell, whenever a creature deals damage to you with a melee attack, they take 1d8 points of acid damage. Once the spell ends you take 1 level of exhaustion, and the spell automatically ends if you fall unconscious or die. At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2st.
