The Burning Sea is a lake located in the center of
Rungholt, resulting from the eruption of
The Vulspar (see:
Rungholt). Its waters are said to run red and black like a mixture of blood, soot and embers, and smell like rotting flesh and brimstone. Little else is known of it as of now.
