The Crimson Wilds

The Crimson Wilds are a stretch of corrupted woodlands, running most of the length of Kazovka, a region in The Devoj Wilderness. The Crimson Wilds are just far enough away from The Stigmata, the source of the otherworldly corruption, to where its influence is not purely destructive.
As a result of this, over the course of over a thousand years a strange new ecosystem has developed here. One of alien lifeforms, mutated, though not entirely beyond recognition. Entirely new species of beasts and plants have been recorded by the scholars which study The Crimson Wilds, though corruption is still ever-present here, making it a very treacherous place to explore.
