The Griselder Woods

The Griselder Woods are a woodland in the east of Griselderyn, west of the northernmost sections of The Worldspine. They are the most densely populated region of Griselderyn, home to many small towns, villages and even some larger cities. The region is generally known to be what most people imagine when they think of a forest, abundant flora and fauna, some dangerous, others harmless, most somewhere in between. The weather here is mostly mild outside the harsher seasons, though farther north the weather can often get quite cold, with regular snowfall and temperatures below freezing.
The Griselder River also flows right through here, and The Embergrasp Dynasty has held dominion over these lands for hundreds of years.
