The Sea of Jezabel

The Sea of Jezabel was, if ancient elven records are to be believed, originally created through the original sin of elvenkind: The Burning of the First Tree (see: The Elven Strain).
It is located in the far east of Kashura, in the Kazovka region of The Devoj Wilderness, and is at least nominally under the control of The Astarojna Dominion.
It is said that while by now most of its waters have become safer, as the corruption seeping from The Stigmata has diluted more and more into the open sea, the deeper parts are still home to untold horrors, krakens and leviathans lurking in the deep, changed and mutated by hundreds of years of exposure to dark otherworldly influences.
