The Weeping Groves

Deriving its name from the trees that make up the bulk of the area, The Weeping Groves are a forested area in the heartland of The Astarojna Dominion, just north of The Wardens.
The trees in question are the Weeping Willows, when cut into, the wood of these trees releases a viscous red, almost blood-like ichor, which some have claimed look like trails of bloody tears.
Superstitious folk claim that the trees contain the souls of those who opposed The Tutelars during The Burning of the First Tree (see: The Elven Strain), though there is so far no proof for such claims.
