Bound

Even planes apart, Bróbh Boíg always found himself distinctly aware of his husband's moods. It was a reassurance that no matter what may happen, Ort was still there, waiting for him. And it told him just as much when it was time to head home before his husband bit someone's head off.
Becoming bound is often considered, in simple terms, the Nurí equivalent of marriage. In a more nuanced sense, becoming bound involves the tangling of two individual's souls, metaphysically linking them forever. It is linked specifically with the Nurí, though dragons have a similar way of binding themselves metaphysically to others.

Binding can only be initiated by a fae, and despite popular belief, does not require much to achieve in of itself. A bond can only be created between two fully willing individuals - it cannot be forced on someone, and someone who is charmed cannot accept a bond.
