Naga

Nagas will likely receive a name change in the future.
Naga are a rare race with unknown origins, known for most commonly being found in The Underground and The Underworld. They are known for being some of Aanrah's most powerful alchemists.

The Underworld's Serpents

Physical

Naga appear as creatures with the upper body of a humanoid and the lower half of a snake. Scales usually continue up their back and over their shoulders, and color and patterns are often akin to real snakes. Skin color usually matches scale pattern, or is one of the pattern's colors, as is hair color. Naga eyes are usually yellow or gold, but can come in red, orange, and green as well. They usually are between 10' and 16' feet in length.

Age & Reproduction

Naga live longer on average then humans, usually reaching around 100 years old. They reach their juvenile age around 18, adulthood around 25, and old age around 70.
Naga lay clutches of 1 - 4 eggs, though it isn't uncommon for an egg not to hatch. Naga hybrids are incredibly rare, both due to their limited geographical range, their cultural perception, and biological reasons. They most commonly hybridize with Nymauti demon.

General Culture

Above and below ground, naga are usually a part of the Nymaut culture. They are known for living in tight communities that share their resources and burdens, and are often found on the surface in remote, isolated villages. They are known for being expert alchemists and creators of some of the world's most deadliest poisons. While not as isolationist as harpies, naga tend to keep to themselves and distrust outsiders.
Other cultures on the surface do not readily accept naga, and often treat them with distrust or outright hostility. Subterranean cultures accept them as they would any other race.

Traits

Naga are rather quick, and are very adept climbers. Most naga sport poisonous fangs, though they rarely used outright. They are capable of seeing in low light, and can sense heat.
